Temperatures in Scotland are generally a few degrees cooler than in England. For example, the average daily maximum temperature at Glasgow in July is 19°C compared with 22°C in London.
July and August are normally the warmest months in Scotland however the weather is famously unpredictable so remember to bring some warm jumpers and perhaps an umbrella!
No your deposit is the first £100 of your course fee.
You don't have to bring a music stand as there will be plenty available for practise, lessons and classes. However, one might be useful if you wish to practise in your room.
The course this year will begin on the Tuesday at 5pm. We will start with introductions followed by a quick tour which leads into dinner. The first class will begin at approx 7.30pm.
The final concert will be on Sunday night. Friends and family are welcome to attend. After the concert there is an end of course party. The next morning (Monday 2nd Aug) is for departures.
Extra group classes in the past have included Percussion workshops, Baroque Classes, Improvisation workshops, circular breathing classes and Feldonkreis classes.
